just an update...FINALLY! lol

hello fellow bloggers. i know that you all probably thought i just fell off with everything that i'm doing with Fly By Nature, Shoestrings&Pocketbooks, etc. but that's actually the opposite. these past few weeks i've been on my grind more than ever with everything i'm doing. me and rod are trying to release Shoestrings&Pocketbooks very soon, but we want to make sure it's perfect before we release it. we're trying to give you a variety. i listen to the music all around me from people my age, and it all sounds the same...but it's acceptable. i sometimes get nervous that i'll be bringing something so new to the table, that it won't be accepted by most people. but then i realize, that i don't care..i'm doing this for me. this mixtape is a self-expression of me and my bro...

i've also been well at work with FBN. me and the team decided what type of theme we're going to be portray for the runway scenes. it's actually not a fashion show that we'll be modeling. there's an annual hair show every year in Raleigh, and this year the lady that's in charge of it, Va'nessa Jones, asked us if we will model in between hair scenes. we're going to do five big scenes..and she's giving us permission to take it as far as we want to go, so the sky's the limit for us. every sunday we've been having practices, and we've been coming along just fine. it's about to be crunch time though, because the show's coming up really soon..October 10th!

i'm also in school now..i've been back since July 27th. my grades are good. unlike last year, i'm starting to find a good balance between maintaining good grades and being successful with my own self-projects.

these are the results from the Fly By Nature and Co. auditions. if you didn't make it, please don't quit on modeling, or on us. this might just not be the show for you..or Fly By Nature might not be for you...it's okay though. just keep working and striving for your dream. you may go through 9 'no's'..but that 1 'yes' is worth it (= if you are on the list, plan to be at rehearsal this Sunday (8/29/10). hit me or any of the team members up for info.

Just and Update

wassup guys..here's just an update on what's been going on. (random-peep the Obama picture in the background. =P) this month I've been working with the Fly By Nature for the Hay Now! Productions Fashion and Talent Show Extravaganza. from promotion, to designing outfits, to coreographing the different scenes, me and the team have been busy preparing for this saturday night, which is the day of the show.

Rodney and I have also been busy on working on Shoestrings&Pocketbooks. we've came up with a release date for it..but I'll release that at a later time (; people have been asking about it, but still not enough as I would like. so my job now is to keep promoting, so when we release it, it won't be a suprise. a music video for a song off the track will be coming at you guys real soon! so be on the lookout for that.

other than that though, I've just been getting ready to go back to school. as sophomore class president, I've been doing some things to prepare for that responsibility. I also have to be concious of everything that I do and say, because there will ALWAYS be someone watching..and ready to take your spot as soon as they see you slip up...
