my thoughts of the day...i know i'm late. lol

mmmm...so i know i'm kind of late writing this. i usually write around mid-afternoon and i'm writing this at 10:30. sorry. i'm really tired. i've been super busy this weekend, and i'm exhausted! i started the weekend off pretty good by going to a party with my friends rodney and lucky. it was pretty cool. saturday i stayed in the house all day watching jaelynn and josh. my mother had her friend spend the night saturday so we had a full house. i ended up crashing in my bed with the kids but i couldn't really get any sleep because jaelynn's a wild sleeper :/. i decided to make the best of my saturday though. that's when i started forming the ideas of the fashion line, thus-my new blogs. LOL. today was okay. stayed home again :/, but even more ideas for the fashion line formed. i guess it's true when they say there's a blessing in everything! but my thoughts for the night are basically on the line. i know i can't let it get in the way of school and the acting, because i can sometimes do that. but me, jessica nicole, and rodney went over some good things and we plan to have a fall 2010 preview coming soon...probably around april. now it's time to get some sketches in and get to promoting! i'm just glad that i have a good team to work with, because two heads are truely better than one!...i have school in the a.m so i'll be sure to hit you guys up about my day tommorow. until then!
almost forgot....

fashion line partners...jessica nicole and rodney woodard !!

so my last post was talking about starting my fashion line and getting some partners. well, here they are! rodney woodard (left), jessica nicole (right), and-even though it's an old photo-myself (middle) will be bringing you a taste of our fashion! we are sooo excited about this project. i know we'll have a lot of supporters, but i also know we'll have a lot of haters. a lot of people will say we're too young-but who knows best about what teens are wearing, other than teens?! it takes one to know one! but both partners are hard working, innovative, fresh-minded thinkers! not to mention they both have a great fashion sense, so i think that us working together is an unstopable trio. our next steps now is to come up with a slogan for the line (btw-we have a name, i'll post it later! :)) and start designing for our spring 2010 collection. i'll be sure to keep you all posted as we move along!

mmm . . . my own fashion line ?

so i've been doing a lot of thinking...and i really think it's about time for me to launch my idea for a new fashion line. i know the first thing people might say is 'wow, he's too young to do that'. but i always make sure i use my negative comments as my motivation. i have a few ideas for a name, but i haven't officially thought of one yet-so i dont want to release anything yet. right now i know i need to find a name, a theme, partner(s), and several sketches. then i take those ideas and put them in front of the people that can take us to the next step. i'm not doing this so i can be 'popular' or 'rich', because money doesn't even come to mind when i think of it...i'm doing it because it's something i have a passion for. i think i can bring something new to not only men's-but women's fashion. i will be sure to keep you all posted on my moves. you can anticipate that the next thing you'll know is the name of the line and my partner(s)!

my thoughts of the day

so today i'm in health again...lol. my teacher's talking about body image. i should probably be paying attention but i wanted to hit you guys up. (omg-my teachers talking about people throwing up their food-EW ! lol) but today was okay. i'm still trying to find my 'image'. today i wore a olive green button up, a pink tie (i had it tied into a bowtie-but i took it out), black skinny jeans, and brown&black loafers. i was getting a lot of attention from this. If you walk through my school, you'll see a lot of baggy Levi jeans, Sperrys or New Balance 993's, and a Ralph Lauren Polo. some of it is kind of fly, but in order to stand out-YOU HAVE TO BE DIFFERENT! (i can't express that enough). i can probably guess that some people didn't like it, but then again-i don't care! haha. but right now i'm working on my individuality and acting. speaking of acting, i have two shows coming up that i'm starring in. i'll be sure to post those later though. random-T.G.I.F ! haha. this weekend will probably be pretty chill though. my parents have some party to go to so i'll be watching my little brother, josh. my sister is coming into town from Virginia. i'm really excited about seeing her and my niece, jaelynn! i'll probably spend the weekend chilling, working on my school work, and finding designs for my upcoming fashion line(?)-idk! but i'm learning that's it's usually easier said than done, setting yourself apart from the crowd. but when you do, you'll notice, and so will the others around you! :)

uhmmm . . can we say FLY ?!

smh-this guy ; Diggy Simmons is beyond fly! i don't consider being fresh wearing casual clothes all of the time. sometimes it's cool to prep it out! i admire his fashion sense!

my thoughts of the day

hmmm...so i'm sitting here in health class updating my blogspot. i usually wouldn't be, but i'm already ahead in class and i'm excited to get more posts up! lol. recently, i got my haircut and cut my mohawk yesterday. it was a really distinguished haircut, but i was just ready for a change. the mohawk was a 'fun' sort of haircut, but now as i'm getting older, it's one of the steps i'm starting to take from being a kid, to becoming a young man! even though YOUR HAIR DOESN'T MAKE YOU WHO YOU ARE-i did it for ME, and that's what matters! but from cutting my hair i've realized that you have to be true to yourself! if i would've kept my mohawk, i wouldn't have liked it-but others probaly would have. but if they're not the ones with the hair, they shouldn't be the ones worried about it!

Juston Alford's blog !

hello to all! i just want to take this time to say welcome to my blog and thanks for viewing! hmm...let's see, i'm a young innovative fourteen-year-old african american male. i am very active in the performing arts and fashion. someday i want to act for the camera-will smith is my inspiration! i would also love to own my own fashion line, and design my own things. i don't know which one i would rather do more because i love them both, maybe acting a little more though! but i made a blogspot for people who want to keep up with me. i'll be sure to give my 'thoughts of the day' as recently as i can, i'll give updates on projects and other things i'm doing, and i'll give inspiration quotes and whatnot ! but that's it i guess, follow me! =)
